Tucked away in the Shropshire countryside, we are pleased to offer Lakeview Cottage as a luxury 3 bedroomed self-catering holiday cottage. A “Sykes Cottages” 5 tick property that is a recently renovated 17th Century farmhouse.

Spectacular panoramic views over the the farmland the Shopshire countryside the holiday cottage is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet, but who don’t want to leave behind their comfortable home.

The cottage is welcoming and furnished with a modern and comfortable decor which remains sympathetic to the farmhouse’s original wooden features. You’ll find a fully-fitted farmhouse kitchen as well as a big HD TV to enjoy (when you’re not watching the local wildlife!) and WiFi throughout the house. Luxury beds and linen upstairs along with floor-ceiling windows make for a relaxing stay.

The historical town of Market Drayton is just 4 miles away and has the closest supermarkets and shops. 35 minutes from historic Shrewsbury and 45 minutes from Chester. There are hundreds of activities and events for all ages locally and with Cheshire, Staffordshire and North Wales all a 30 minute drive away we hope you’re ready to go exploring!
